In large organizations it is virtually impossible to know the opinion of the employees at large, across the board. A number of questions worry the management all the time such as-
How do the employees perceive the organizational policies, as regards recruitment, promotions, compensation structure etc?
Do we have the right information on their response?
Is there some seething discontent, on some issues about employee relations?
Are there some areas where employees are contented, happy or proud?
Are there some ethnic groups/ linguistic beliefs which have groupism /isolationist attitudes?
How does one assimilate them into the mainstream?
Are there some pockets in the organization where attrition rate is significantly large?
