Tips for Software professionals:

Give brief personal id -Name, Address and Connectivity. Mention Educational & Professional qualifications. Segregate Experience in years ( Total as well as IT related ) Write down your skill-sets clearly for example: Languages, RDBMS, Front ends, Operating Systems and Specific packages known. Give Experience history of IT Projects in reverse chronological order :

Mention the Organisation where you are working or worked.

Highlight the number of projects worked on.

Provide the following Project details in the order given below.

• The Project Title.
• Client for whom the project is done.
• Team size.
• Duration of the project in man months .
• Your role in the project ( Be honest as to what you did; analysis/designing, project management, software management , quality management, software integration, technical writing ,testing or training ).
• Description of the project/system in 8-10 lines. Write 3-4 lines as to what the system does and 5-6 lines for the current tools/technology/methodology and the new features you have used for this system.Specify how this has made the system more efficient and helped the client.
• Platform/tools you have worked on.

For Non- IT Professionals:
